I want to be very transparent when I say:
I did not file a lawsuit. I filed a copyright claim on youtube! There has been NO lawsuit filed whatsoever.
Youtube allows users to dispute copyright claims amongst each other, the only reason I ever mentioned my lawyer was because I was very sure that I was making the right claim as I had received some legal advice to back up my claim INCASE the person directly involved in the claim did not want to solve things between each other and wanted TO TAKE ME TO COURT. I never once wanted to initiate any court proceedings as I had faith that this could be resolved maturely and respectfully!
For the record, it is not up to Nikocado, Teaspill, or anyone else to act like a court official, legal advisor, a lawyer, or a judge. Nor is it anyone’s right to do so unless they are of that occupation or professional background. To state that what I did was illegal or false is incorrect as no matter how you choose to slice it, the content used was initially created by me. It is my property. There's nothing illegal about making a copy right claim, it would be illegal if it wasn't my material and I made the claim.
