The full song was recently discovered and revealed on the beatles.ru forum. The name of the track and artist are still unknown. If anyone have any guesses feel free to drop a comment down below!
Videos will also featuring some vintage super 8mm footage of the cartoon itself synced to the audio and also some interesting images of animation cels, storyboards, sketches and more.
The films are DDR releases of the DEFA company, good quality colour silent prints (most are 33m film reels and some are 50m). They come in a metal container.
Some released episodes suffer from nonsense cuts and scenes are sometimes not in the correct order.
The sections in this footage comes from Defa Heimfilm 1043 "Hase und Wolf: Wassersport mit Hindernissen". The film is in good condition however due to the light print and capture technique used by me the video looks quite bright and the difference between the projected (supposedly 24 frames per second) and the 30 fps of the capturing device introduces the annoying "flicker" effect. In person the quality of the projected picture is superb, crisp details and good natural colours and it is only a pity I can not capture them more frightfully at the moment, updates might come at some point of course.
